You’ve heard the buzz, now experience Uptown first-hand. Photo By: Uptown United & David SuarezPlease join us for an informative lecture and tour of Chicago’s Uptown community. Experience the momentum surrounding the Entertainment District and see the Historic Restoration in progress. We’ll begin in Marshall and Fox’s Uptown Bank Building where the Second Floor Bank Lobby was the back-drop for Johnny Depp’s Dillinger movie, “Public Enemies.” Several developers of local properties may join us to speak about their projects. A short walking tour conducted by a historic expert will include Ahlschlager’s 80-year-old Uptown Broadway Building encrusted in a Spanish-baroque inspired terra-cotta. We’ll conclude the tour at the Aragon Ballroom – a dance floor and concert hall that must be seen to be believed. Two complimentary drink tickets and refreshments will be provided.
By Car: Free Parking available at the Aragon Ballroom surface parking lot (corner of Lawrence / Winthrop)
